Turkey Meat Loaf
- 3 slices bread
- 1 lb. ground raw turkey
- 1 medium onion
- 5 sprigs parsley
- 1 tsp. dried tarragon
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano
- Grease shallow baking pan or loaf pan.
- Directions for Cuisinart:
- Chop onion and parsley 30 seconds.
- Add bread, tarragon, chicken broth, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary and egg.
- Pulse 60 seconds.
- Add turkey.
- Pulse gently just to fold in.
- Mold and shape into a loaf.
- Put in pan, dot with margarine.
- Bake in 375u0b0 oven for 40 minutes. Pour tomato sauce over meat, add oregano and bake 20 minutes more.
- Serves 4. Can be done by hand.
- Break up bread and chop onion first.
