Hamburger Steaks
- 1 lb. ground round (the leaner, the better)
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. smoke sauce
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. Greek seasoning
- juice of 1/2 medium orange
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Mix
- well.
- Divide
- in 4 patties.
- Flatten as you would hamburger
- patties.
- Then
- cup your hands around the patty and at the
- same
- time,
- turn in circular motion and push sides of patty inward.
- Flip
- patty
- over, cup your hands around patty and repeat the procedure.
- Pat the patty down as you go if it becomes
- too thick.
- Repeat about half a dozen times or until you have
- a
- very firm patty about 3 inches in diameter and 1 1/2-inches
- thick. Wrap
- 1
- piece of bacon around each patty. Secure
- with toothpick.
- Broil
- as
- you
- would
- your favorite steak.
