Meatballs Italiano

  1. In large bowl combine beef, eggs, water, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, onion, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. Measure out 1/4 cup of the mixture, form into a ball.
  3. Roll meatball in remaining bread crumbs to coat.
  4. Repeat with remaining meat mixture and bread crumbs.
  5. Make meatballs, then set aside.
  6. In a large skillet heat oil until hot.
  7. Add meatballs; brown on all sides about 15 minutes.
  8. Drain.
  9. In large saucepan or Dutch oven add spaghetti sauce; bring to a boil.
  10. Reduce heat, add the meatballs and simmer covered about 20 minutes.
  11. Stir about every 5 minutes to prevent sticking.
  12. Serve over spaghetti.
  13. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
