Spanish Spaghetti
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. diced onions
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. chili pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 4 c. tomatoes (fresh or canned), chopped
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- Heat oil; add onions and green peppers.
- Cook until soft.
- Add ground beef, salt, black pepper and chili pepper.
- Cook until browned.
- Add tomato sauce, tomato paste and 4 cups tomatoes and 1 teaspoon sugar.
- Cook together 15 minutes on medium heat.
- Break spaghetti into pieces and cook according to directions on package. Do not overcook.
- Drain and add to sauce mix and put into casserole.
- Put into oven at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
