Walnut Beer Bread(Makes Two Loaves)

  1. Heat beer to 105u0b0 to 115u0b0 and pour 1/2 cup into a small bowl. Stir in the yeast and let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Mix the flours, sugar and salt in large bowl.
  3. Make a well in center.
  4. Pour yeast mixture, oil and remaining 1 cup beer into the well and stir until blended.
  5. Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes, adding more flour if necessary.
  6. Grease large bowl with walnut oil.
  7. Cover with damp towel and let rise until double.
  8. May also let rise in fridge overnight.
