Banana Maple Walnut Bread With Maple Walnut Butter

  1. Place the toasted walnuts in a mini food processor and start processing until the walnuts almost turn into a paste. Add the butter, walnut oil and maple syrup and continue to process until all is combined. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in the bananas, egg, maple syrup and walnut oil.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder together.
  4. Chop the roasted walnuts and set aside.
  5. Stir the flour mixture into the wet mixture until totally combined. Stir in 3/4 of the chopped walnuts.
  6. Butter a 9x5 inch loaf pan and spread the bread mixture in. Sprinkle the top with the remaining walnuts. Bake in a pre heated 350F oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool and enjoy with the Maple Walnut Butter!
