Hamwiches

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add the next 6 ingredients.
  3. Add flour and mix well (soft dough).
  4. Let rise until double in bulk. Divide dough in half.
  5. Roll out into circle 1/4-inch thick.
  6. Cut into pie shapes.
  7. Lay slice of boiled ham on each and roll (looks like crescent rolls).
  8. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with poppy seed or sesame seed.
  9. Rise again until finger poked in roll leaves indent.
  10. Bake at 400u0b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  11. These freeze well.
  12. They taste best warmed before serving.
  13. This recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc.
