Creamy Green Dragon Smoothie

  1. Prepare the rosewater by bringing 1 cup of water to a slow boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add the edible, dried rose petals, stir, and reduce to low heat. Cover leaving a slight opening for steam to be released and let steep for approximately 2 minutes or until water has turned a deep rose hue. Remove from heat.
  3. Add the frozen dragon fruit smoothie base to a blender followed by frozen mango chunks. Do not blend at this stage.
  4. Revisit the rosewater - strain to separate the petals then let sit until the temp ranges from warm to cool. Discard the boiled petals.rnRecommended: from the saucepan, pour rosewater through a slotted spoon held over a mason jar to separate and store the remainder for future smoothies.
  5. Add 1/2 small avocado, milk, rosewater, and matcha powder to blender. Set on high until smooth and fully incorporated.
  6. Serve cold and sprinkle with optional toppings. Try granola, pistachios, blueberries, flaked coconut, and edible flowers. Don't forget a spoon to enjoy the toppings!
