Aunt Blanche'S Breakfast Casserole

  1. Butter 8 slices of bread on one side and place buttered side down in casserole.
  2. Sprinkle ham, onions, cheese and mushrooms over bread.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder and Cajun spice over this and top with remaining bread.
  4. Mix eggs with milk, salt and dry mustard and pour over bread; cover with foil.
  5. Place in refrigerator overnight.
  6. Remove foil and cover with crushed cornflakes.
  7. Sprinkle melted butter over top and bake 1 hour at 350u0b0.
  8. Serve hot.
  9. Very good.
