Beans Supreme With Tomatoes
- 2 lb. ground steak
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms
- 1 can (16 oz.) red beans
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 2 c. stewed tomatoes
- 1 can undiluted tomato soup
- 1 can (1 lb. 13 oz.) pork and beans
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne
- Brown meat
- in oil in heavy skillet. Add onions, pepper and mushrooms.
- Cook
- until vegetables are slightly brown. Add tomatoes, soup, beans,
- salt
- and
- sauce.
- Put in a 2 1/2 or 3 quart casserole or
- 13

- 2-inch
- pan.
- Top with grated cheese and bake at 350u0b0 for about 1 hour. Serves 10 to 12.
