Cheese Pie
- For the pastry
- 250 grams flour
- 30 grams butter
- 1 egg
- 5 grams fresh yeast
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 milliliters water
- For the filling
- 200 grams maroilles (french cheese)
- 1 egg
- 150 milliliters cream
- 70 milliliters milk
- salt & pepper
- Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add egg and mix. Add the butter and stir until the butter is well absorbed by the dough. Finally add water until a having a smooth paste. Adjust with flour if the dough is too sticky. Let stand 1 hour, the dough will rise.
- Once the dough has puffed, degas and then let stand at least an hour in the refrigerator.
- Get the dough in the refrigerator once it has rested long enough. Spread it and place in a buttered pie plate. Remove the crust from Maroilles and cut into wafer to place it on the dough. Mix egg, cream, milk, salt and pepper, then remove the Maroilles.
- Bake 25 minutes at 180 u0b0 C.
