Extra Special Congealed Salad

  1. Prepare Jell-O to package directions.
  2. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans and drained pineapple.
  3. Pour in 13 x 9-inch container.
  4. Let congeal overnight or 5 to 6 hours.
  5. Combine Dream Whip and cream cheese and spread over Jell-O.
  6. Combine the undrained pineapple, sugar, eggs, lemon juice and cornstarch in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until thick, stirring.
  7. Cool and spread over second layer.
  8. Top with 1/4 cup chopped pecans.
