Oriental Filet Tagliata
- 2 filets
- 1/4 garlic clove
- 1/2 scallion
- 3-4 sage leaves
- 3-4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 6-8 juniper berries
- 1/2 red pepper
- 200 grams thinly sliced mushrooms
- 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch black pepper
- salt
- Coarsely chop sage leaves, add them to soy sauce and curry powder, mix, and set apart.
- Grind together garlic, scallion, juniper and black pepper and set apart.
- Dice the red pepper and set apart.
- Cook meat filets in a very hot pan with 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil. Rare or well done, you decide. Remove them from the pan and salt to taste.
- Leave the meat juices in the pan and add garlic & co.. Brown them a minute on a medium heat.
- Add red pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes.rnAdd mushrooms and a pinch of salt and stir-fry for about 10 minutes.
- Slice the filets and place them on a serving plate. Add the mushrooms and red pepper and the sage sauce (a few drops were more than enough for me!).
