Marble Fudge
- 1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 16 oz. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate (2 pkg.)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
- 1/3 c. peanut butter
- Line an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan with plastic wrap.
- Place corn syrup and milk in a 2-quart saucepan set on a medium-low heat burner. Add chocolate, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the vanilla and the sugar with a wooden spoon until the mixture is smooth.
- Spread the mixture in the pan previously prepared.
- Using a teaspoon, drop the peanut butter onto the fudge.
- To marbleize, use a knife to swirl the peanut butter through the fudge.
- Chill 2 hours or until firm. Invert onto cutting board and remove the plastic wrap.
- Makes approximately 25 (1 1/2-inch) squares.
