Hot Fruit Casserole
- 1 (16 oz.) can pear halves, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can peach halves, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can pineapple slices, drained
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 c. sherry
- 1/2 c. old fashioned oats, uncooked
- 1/2 c. flour
- dash of salt
- 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
- Half each piece of fruit except pineapple slices.
- Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Roll each piece of fruit in mixture, coating lightly.
- Arrange fruit in a greased 13 x 9-inch casserole and pour sherry over top.
- Mix oats, flour and salt together; sprinkle over fruit.
- Pour melted butter over all, moistening the oat mixture well.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
