Apple Fritters

  1. Beat egg yolkstnd

  3. together

  13. into 1/2 inch thick wedges.
  14. Beat egg whites to form soft peaks.
  15. Gently fold 1/4 of whites into egg
  16. yolk mixture.
  17. Add
  18. the rest of the whites and fold into mixture.
  19. With tongs,
  20. gently dip sliced apples into mixture. One
  21. by
  22. one place
  23. in
  24. hot
  25. oil.
  26. Cook 1 to 3 minutes, until golden brown. Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream.
