Popover Pizza
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 lb. pizza sauce
- 1 pkg. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- Brown beef with onion in large skillet, stirring to crumble. Drain.
- Add pizza sauce.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Spoon into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Top with Mozzarella cheese. Place in a 400u0b0 oven to keep hot.
- Prepare batter; beat with mixer, eggs, milk and oil.
- Add salt and flour.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour over pizza filling; cover filling completely. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 30 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
