Oreo Hot Fudge Sundae
- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
- 4 oz. German's sweet chocolate bar
- 5 3/4 oz. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- Combine Oreos with 1/4 cup melted butter and press in 9 x 13-inch pan; freeze 15 minutes.
- Set ice cream at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Slice ice cream into 6 pieces and place on crust. Freeze for 30 minutes.
- In a saucepan, melt chocolate bar, evaporated milk, 1/2 cup butter, sugar and salt.
- Boil for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add vanilla and cool.
- Pour chocolate mixture over ice cream; top with nuts.
- Freeze 30 minutes.
- Spread Cool Whip on top; garnish with nuts and freeze.
