Nana'S Pizza
- 2 c all purpose flour
- 1 heaping tbsp quick rise yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
- 1 c hot water
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp oil (cooking)
- pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce
- pepperoni or your choice meat
- mozzarella cheese
- Mix flour, yeast, and salt in a bowl set aside.
- Add to the hot water:
- corn syrup and oil, mix up and make sure your water mixture cools to luke warm, as to not kill your yeast.
- Mix flour mixture and water mixture together until a soft dough is formed knead your dough with flour until you can roll out on pizza stone or pan, that has been sprayed with oil.
- Spread pizza sauce on dough, cover with cheese then put your meat and anything else you like on top.
- Cook at 400 to 450 until cheese has melted and browned and crust is done.
- Enjoy.
