Capellini With Calamari And Shrimp(From Tony'S In Houston, Tx)
- 1/4 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 (14 oz.) can Italian peeled tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 1/4 c. chopped flat leaf parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 3/4 lb. capellini
- 10 oz. squid, cleaned and sliced into thin rings
- 1/2 lb. large shrimp, deveined, shelled and cut into thirds
- 1/4 tsp. crushed hot red pepper
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
- Place the walnuts on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- Let cool.
