Mama'S Blueberry Pound Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. Use mixer to cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time.
  3. Beat well after each egg is added.
  4. Add flavorings and beat until fluffy.
  5. Dredge berries with 1/4 cup flour and set aside.
  6. Sift remaining flour with baking powder and salt.
  7. Fold into cake batter until well blended.
  8. Gently stir in berries.
  9. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes or until cake test done with a cake tester.
  10. Place pan on rack and cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
  11. Serves 12 to 16.
