Temptation Cake
- 1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 c. milk
- 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 bananas
- 1/3 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. cherries
- Cool Whip
- Bake cake mix in large oblong pan using milk instead of water. Punch lots of holes in cake top with a toothpick when done. Bring to boil the sugar and crushed pineapple.
- While mixture is hot, pour over the cake, then cool to room temperature.
- Blend together the cream cheese and pudding mix with milk.
- Pour over cooled cake and chill until mixture thickens.
- Cover cake with sliced bananas and Cool Whip.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans and coconut.
- Add cherries on top.
