Praline Coffee Cake

  1. Blend brown sugar, 3/4 cup flour and cinnamon.
  2. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until crumbly.
  3. Stir in pecans; set aside.
  4. Sift 3 cups flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
  5. Stir lemon juice into evaporated milk.
  6. Cream 1/2 cup butter and 3/4 cup sugar until light.
  7. Add eggs, one at a time.
  8. Beat well after each addition. Add flour and milk alternately; beat well after each addition. Fold in raisins and spread about 1/3 of praline mix into bottom of well-greased 10-inch tube pan.
  9. Cover with half of batter mix. Sprinkle remaining praline mix over batter and press gently.
  10. Bake at 350u0b0 for 60 minutes.
  11. Let stand in pan 10 minutes before removing.
