Pretzel Salad
- 1 c. pretzels, crushed
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. pecans, broken
- 1 stick butter
- 2 (8 oz.) cartons Cool Whip
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
- 1 large pkg. strawberry jello
- Melt butter.
- Mix with pretzels, nuts and sugar.
- Press into 9 x 2 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes; cool.
- Beat together cream cheese, 1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip and sugar. Spread on top of pretzel mix.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Dissolve jello in boiling water.
- Add frozen strawberries.
- When thickened, pour over cheese mixture.
- Spread 1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip over strawberries.
- Decorate with chopped pecans.
