Drunken Turkey

  1. Coat turkey skin and cavity with butter.
  2. Sprinkle generously with salt, pepper and garlic powder inside and outside.
  3. Place turkey in a large roasting pan.
  4. Cut onions and celery into 4-inch pieces.
  5. Grate orange rind and set aside.
  6. Peel orange and cut into sections.
  7. Mix celery, onion and orange and stuff into cavity (or under breast).
  8. Mix brandy, Triple Sec and wine together and pour over turkey.
  9. Sprinkle rind over top and bake at 325u0b0 until done. The drippings can be used in cornbread dressing.
  10. It's outstanding.
