Easy Baked Cheesecake
- 1 regular and 1 deep dish ready made graham cracker crust
- 5 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
- 1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 5 eggs plus 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 c. whipping cream
- 3/4 c. chilled whipping cream
- 1/3 c. toasted slivered almonds (optional)
- Heat oven to 475u0b0.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, salt, flour, orange peel, lemon peel and 2 of the eggs in a large bowl until smooth.
- Continue beating, adding remaining eggs and egg yolk, 1 at a time.
- Beat in 1/4 cup whipping cream on low speed.
- Pour into crusts.
- Bake 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 200u0b0 and bake 1 hour.
- Turn off oven; leave cheesecake in oven 15 minutes.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 12 hours but no longer than 48 hours.
