St. Timothy Coffee Cake

  1. Cream butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Add sugar gradually; continue to cream.
  3. Blend in vanilla.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
  5. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  6. Add nuts and raisins; coat well.
  7. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream; blend well.
  8. The batter looks like whipped cream tinged with honey.
  9. Turn into greased and floured Bundt pan; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  10. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 60 minutes, or until the cake tests done. Leave in pan for at least 1 hour before turning out.
  11. Turn out; sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.
