Oriental Meat Balls
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. onions
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 c. pineapple juice
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- Mix meat, bread crumbs, onions, mustard, salt, pepper, egg and milk.
- Shape into balls and brown in oil.
- For sauce, mix remaining ingredients together.
- Cook and stir until thickened. Add to meatballs and cook 30 minutes.
- (Freezable at this stage.) Add one medium green pepper (cut in strips), large can of pineapple chunks, and cook until thoroughly heated.
- Serve over rice.
