Brazil Nut Coffee Cake Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, 1 cup sugar and 3
  3. teaspoons
  4. cinnamontnto large bowl.
  5. Add butter and Crisco, while egg and
  6. eggtolk.
  7. With
  8. electric mixer on low speed mix well.
  9. Turn into 15
  10. 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
  11. Spread evenly with spatula or pat with hands.
  12. With fork beat
  13. egg white
  14. slightly;trush
  15. over
  16. dough.
  17. Combine remaining 1/3 cup sugar,
  18. 1
  19. teaspoon
  20. cinnamon
  21. andtuts and sprinkle over top of dough.
  22. Bake 25 minutes or until nuts are golden brown. Cool in pan; cut into 2 x 1 inch bars.
  23. Makes 6 dozen depending on size of cuts.
  24. Do not overcook.
