Barbecued Shrimp
- 3 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. fresh, coarsely-ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco
- 1 1/2 lb. large shrimp, with shells
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Place bacon in large skillet, add margarine and saute for several minutes.
- Add all other ingredients except for shrimp, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Place shrimp in open baking dish and pour sauce over top.
- Stir once to coat all shrimp.
- Bake in uncovered dish for 20 minutes, stirring several times during process.
- Serve hot.
- Eat at once.
