Pork Casserole #1
- 1 lb. lean pork shoulder, coarsely ground
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 3/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can (15 1/2 oz.) tomatoes
- 1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms with liquid
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) wide noodles
- 3/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- Saute the meat in the oil.
- Add the chopped vegetables.
- Cook 10 minutes.
- Add the soup, mushrooms with liquid and the seasonings.
- Simmer 10 minutes.
- Cook noodles and drain.
- Mix noodles with the meat sauce and spread in a buttered 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish.
- Mix the bread crumbs with melted butter and grated cheese and spread over the top.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
