Holiday Bread Pudding
- 1 loaf bread (20 oz. loaf)
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. crushed pineapple
- 1 c. red cherries
- 1 c. green cherries
- 1 c. grated coconut
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. yellow food coloring
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a large bowl, break bread into small pieces. Add raisins, milk, pineapple, cherries and coconut.
- Mix well.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs, vanilla and food coloring.
- Mix well. Add margarine mixture to bread mixture.
- Pour into a 3-quart pan.
- Bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Serves 10. Contains 200 calories per serving.
