Mexican Build Up
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato paste
- 3 cans water (use tomato paste can)
- 1 can tomato and green chilies
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 cloves garlic
- shredded lettuce
- corn chips
- diced avocado
- diced tomato
- shredded cheese
- chopped green onion
- chopped ripe olives
- coconut (optional)
- salsa
- peanuts
- raisins
- Crumble meat and cook over moderate heat.
- Add onion.
- Add paste, water, tomatoes, chilies and spices.
- Simmer 40 minutes. Let each guest serve himself to cooked rice, covered with sauce and none or all of these ingredients:
