Greek Casserole Dinner(Mousaka Kreas)

  1. In a frypan, brown meat slowly with the oil and sage.
  2. Cook potatoes in 1 cup boiling water, in a covered saucepan for 5 minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Toss with salt and pepper and half can of French fried onions.
  5. Prepare sauce mix using 1 3/4 cups water.
  6. Arrange layers of potatoes, meat and sauce in a 2-quart buttered casserole dish, ending with sauce.
  7. Cover dish and bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven.
  9. Add remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
  10. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
