Karo Crazy Crunch
- 2 qt. popped corn
- 1 1/3 c. pecans (walnuts or other nuts may be used)
- 2/3 c. roasted peanuts or walnuts, broken up
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Mix
- popped
- corn
- andtroken nuts in a large buttered pan, such as roaster or dishpan.
- Combine sugar, margarine and Karo syrup
- in
- a
- 1 1/2-quart saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.toil, stirring occasionally, 10
- to 15 minutes, or until mixture turns a light caramel color.
- Remove from heat.ttir in vanilla.
- Pour over popped corn and
- nuts. Mix
- to
- coat
- well.
- Spread
- to
- dry.
- Break apart.
- Store
- in tightly
- covered
- container.
- Makes about 2 pounds.
