Simple Golden Chicken

  1. First, cut the garlic in little pieces, then add the other spices and the salt and mash to a paste. You can use a tablespoon to help you with this process.
  2. Add the paste to the chicken, by making some holes in it with a sharp knife. If you have some time, leave it resting on the spices for a while, if not go ahead.
  3. It is important not to add water. So, let it let it cook covered over a low heat. My stove has 9 settings for temperature and I used to cook it at 3 or 4. Flip over the chicken from time to time, and don't worry if it looks like is going to get burnt. When you think it is almost ready, add the honey. It should take around 1 hour.
