Flank Steak
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 lb. fresh giblets
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 3 to 4 green onions
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. Accent
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 jar chicken gravy
- 1 c. Minute rice (uncooked)
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 4 large onions, cut up
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3 to 3 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 4 tsp. sugar
- Tessie, my mother-in-law, prepared a few dishes which were quite special.
- It took a lot of effort to get the recipe, because Tessie did not measure things, but somehow they always came out great.
- The chicken in the recipe should be a fryer, fresh, with skin and bones.
- If your family does not like picking over the chicken, you can remove the skin and bones, but only after cooking.
