Savory Crescent Chicken Squares
- 1- 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 3 T. margarine, melted
- 2 c. cubed chicken or 2 (5 oz.) cans
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 2 T. milk
- 1 T. chopped chives or onion
- 1 T. chopped pimentos
- 1- 8 oz. pkg. crescent rolls
- 1 T. sesame seeds
- Heat oven to 350u0b0. Blend cheese and 2 T. margarine until smooth.
- Add next 6 ingredients and mix well.
- Separate dough into 4 rectangles.
- Firmly press perforations to seal.
- Spoon 1/2 c. meat onto center of each rectangle.
- Pull four corners of rectangles to center of chicken mixture.
- Twist slightly and seal edges.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Brush edges with reserved margarine.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 - 25 minutes or until browned.
- Serves 4.
