Caramel Corn

  1. Mix popcorn, cereal and peanuts in large bowl.
  2. Preheat oven to 250u0b0.
  3. Melt butter in a large saucepan; stir in brown sugar and corn syrup.
  4. Heat slowly, stirring constantly to boiling.
  5. Cook without stirring for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat; stir in soda and vanilla.
  7. Drizzle over popcorn mixture; toss lightly until evenly coated.
  8. Spoon into large shallow baking pan.
  9. Bake, stirring several times, 1 hour.
  10. Cool and store in a lightly covered container.
