Colleen'S Stuffed Bread

  1. Saute onion in olive oil until soft.
  2. Put into large bowl when done.
  3. Add olives and mushrooms to onion.
  4. Brown and crumble sausage and ground beef in a large skillet.
  5. Drain fat.
  6. Add to onion mixture.
  7. Add cheese.
  8. Mix and let cool for about 15 minutes.
  9. Then use fingers to mix and crumble mixture to even consistency.
  10. Roll bread dough into 2 large rectangles (about 1/4-inch thick, 16 x 12-inch).
  11. Spread mixture evenly on bread dough, leaving a 1/2-inch edge all around.
  12. Roll bread into a log, pinching edges together as you go.
  13. Let stand for 15 minutes. Place each loaf on a jelly roll sheet (or any baking dish with small sides).
  14. Bake at 375u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
