Lilac Lemonade

  1. Combine the water and the sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring to disolve sugar.
  2. Once mixture has come to boil, reduce the heat, add the lilac blossoms, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain into a container. This simple syrup can be kept in the refigerator for up to two weeks.
  4. In a tall glass combine the lemon juice, and the water. Add 2 Tbs. of the lilac simple syrup. You can always add more but you can't take out what you've added. If you want more syrup, add more.
  5. Add a couple of ice cubes and some lilac blossoms for garnish. Serve immediatly.
