Honey Baked Ham

  1. Using a sharp knife, remove the layer of skin from ham, leaving a thin layer of

  3. to
  4. keep
  5. the
  6. meat
  7. juicy while baking.
  8. Score the surface of
  9. the
  10. ham
  11. in a diamond pattern, without cutting into the meat.
  12. Place
  13. a
  14. whole
  15. clove
  16. in the center of half of the
  17. diamonds.
  18. Brush
  19. top of ham with Dijon mustard and place ham in a roasting pan.
  20. Combine sugar, honey and cinnamon;
  21. heat over a low to medium temperature for about 2 minutes, until the mixture is pourable but not thin.
  22. Spread the mixture over the ham.
  23. Pour the apple juice into bottom of roasting pan and roast at
  24. 325u0b0
  25. for
  26. 1 1/2 hours.
  27. Baste with the juices in the pan every half hour.
