Hearty Potato Ham Chowder

  1. In large kettle, melt margarine or butter; add onion and green pepper and cook until tender.
  2. Add potatoes, 2 cups water and seasonings.
  3. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Make paste of flour and 1/3 cup of water and stir into the potato mixture.
  5. Add milk and cook until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in corn and ham.
  7. Heat thoroughly.
  8. Serves 6.
