*Onions Au Gratin

  1. Peel onions and slice 1/4-inch thick.
  2. Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms in butter until tender.
  3. Blend in flour and seasonings.
  4. Arrange half of the onions in a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with half the Swiss and Parmesan cheeses.
  5. Top with remaining onions and cheese.
  6. Dissolve bouillon cube in water. Pour over onions.
  7. Bake in a 375u0b0 oven for 20 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley.
  9. Good with either meat or poultry.
  10. Serves 6.
