Butterscotch Granola Cookies
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 (12 oz.) butterscotch morsels
- 1 c. quick oats (uncooked)
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 3/4 c. raisins
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine butter, honey and brown sugar; beat until creamy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Blend in flour mixture alternately with milk.
- Stir in butterscotch morsels, oats, walnuts, raisins and wheat germ.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheets; cool completely.
- Makes about 5 dozen 2 1/4-inch cookies.
