Cholesterol Free Oatmeal-Carrot Cookies

  1. Beat applesauce and brown sugar until blended.
  2. Add about 1/2 flour, the sugar, egg, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, cloves and vanilla.
  3. Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl. Beat in remaining flour.
  4. Stir in oats, carrots and raisins.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoon 2 inches apart on cooking sheet.
  6. Bake in a 375u0b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
  7. Cool on a wire rack.
  8. Yields 4 dozen.
