Enchilada Pie
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Grandma's chili seasoning
- 1 can sliced olives
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 3 cans water
- 8 flour tortillas, cut up
- 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- Brown meat, onions and garlic.
- Add all seasonings.
- Stir in flour, add tomato sauce
- and water.
- Simmer 20 minutes.
- Break up tortillas, layer in 9 x 13-inch pan:
- tortillas, sauce, olives. Repeat.
- Top with cheese (shredded).
- Bake at 350u0b0
- for 30 minutes.
