Double Chocolate And Chilli Cookies
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 sticks butter - softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cayenne powder
- 1 cup Walnuts (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl beat together the butter, sugar egg & vanilla ---> whip until creamy.
- In a separate bowl sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, chili & cinnamon.
- Pour 1/3 of the flour mixture into the butter mixture, beat until incorporated. Repeat until it is all combined.
- Incorporate the chocolate chips into the batter. Let the batter firm up in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- Use a teaspoon to spoon the batter onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake the cookies for 7-8 minutes ----> you will get perfectly chewy cookies :D
- Let the cookies cool and consume with caution!!
