Lasagne(Serves 9 To 12)
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. basil, crushed
- 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 can tomatoes (16 oz.)
- 2 cans tomato paste (6 oz. each)
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 10 oz. lasagne noodles
- Brown hamburger and sausage with spices until done.
- Mix tomatoes and tomato paste together.
- Add to meat mixture.
- Simmer. Mix together eggs, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Boil lasagne noodles.
- In 9 x 13-inch pan, layer 1/2 noodles, 1/2 cheese mixture and 1/2 meat mixture; layer again, remainder of noodles, cheese mixture and meat mixture.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 375u0b0.
