Best Ever Blondies

  1. Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  2. Line bottom and sides with waxed paper.
  3. Grease waxed paper.
  4. In a small saucepan, cook and stir butter and white baking bar over low heat until melted (mixture may separate).
  5. Set aside.
  6. In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs.
  7. Gradually add sugar, beating until light.
  8. Add butter mixture and vanilla.
  9. Add flour and salt; mix well.
  10. Stir in nuts and chocolate pieces.
  11. Turn into prepared pan.
  12. Bake in a 325u0b0 oven for 35 minutes, or until top is golden.
  13. Cool in pan on wire rack.
  14. Loosen edges and invert.
  15. Remove waxed paper; invert again. Cut into bars.
  16. Makes 36 bars.
